Design > Function Clock and Keyboard Magnets

materials: reclaimed function keys from old computer keyboard, stove burner cover, clock mechanism

dimensions: 10" diameter

description: The Function Clock uses the function keys from an old PC keyboard. Since they're numbered 1 through 12 they're perfect for telling time.

Click on "more photos" to see our Keyboard Magnets. They're made from the other keys not used in the Function Clock. They no longer allow the user to type, but they can still be used to communicate by posting notes to your fridge.

design note: A special thank you to all our wonderful friends back in Ann Arbor, Michigan who helped us pull keyboard keys off hundreds of dead keyboards. It's interesting what you find inside. We know true friends when we see them elbow deep in grime from our latest, greatest recycling idea. Thanks guys!

Do you have an old computer you want to get rid of? If you're in Phoenix, AZ; Houston, TX; or Ann Arbor, MI visit ScrapComputer.com. For the rest of you, a quick online search should help steer your e-waste in the right direction.
