"Cool stuff from dead PCs: It's a fact that used electronic devices can place a toxic burden on landfills. The Eden Project, a U.K. nonprofit committed to a sustainable future, helps take the sting out of obsolescent technology by turning yesterday's electronic wonders into today's useful knickknacks. Consider a clipboard (6.5 pounds, or approximately $12.50), mouse mat (7 pounds, $13) or key ring (1 pound, $2), all made from recycled circuit boards. Resource Revival follows the same tack with its circuit board clock ($25) and the Tech Museum of Innovation turns recycled circuit boards into money clips ($11) and drink coasters ($22 for a set of six). Tiffany Tomato Designs keys in on QWERTY with its keyboard magnets ($15 for a set of 12, $60 for full set of 88) and yet another fanciful timepiece ($30). "
